Monterey Peninsula Pride creates celebratory and safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ expression and allyship across the Monterey Peninsula.

Our Values

Monterey Peninsula Pride envisions a social climate in which *LGBTQAI+ people and communities thrive in collaboration with friends, family, allies, and supporters.

We dream of a community in which all genders and sexualities are equally welcomed and celebrated.

We desire a vibrant, multigenerational community in which LGBTQAI+ children are nurtured, LGBTQ+ elders are honored, and people with varied abilities are embraced. 

We envision a community in which LGBTQIA+ people of every culture, philosophy, and belief system can contribute.

We encourage a society in which every ethnicity appreciates their LGBTQAI+ members as a vital part of their communities. 

We stand for a world in which LGBTQAI+ people are woven into the socio-political fabric of society and in which our voices and perspectives are heard in schools, board rooms, city halls, faith communities, town halls, sports arenas, and media.

We strive to increase LGBTQIA+ visibility on the Monterey Peninsula through listening and learning from all LGBTQIA+ expressions.
